Antej Colic is a PhD candidate in political theory at University College London. In his thesis, he explores why common knowledge matters to the functioning of democracy and how this particular form of higher-order knowledge can best be generated in contemporary contexts. To address these questions, he anchors the concept within social ontology, departing from traditional game-theoretic approaches. More broadly, he draws on recent work in political epistemology and democratic theory, as well as realist political thought and theories of the public sphere. His other academic interests include social theories of (late) modernity, processes of civic corruption, responsibility for structural injustice and ethics of algorithmic intermediation.
Before joining UCL, Antej completed an MSc in Political Theory at the London School of Economics and a BSc in Politics and International Relations at the University of Bath.
