NIAMH SUTTON
Lab Coordinator

Niamh Sutton is the Coordinator of the UCL Digital Speech Lab, part of her role as Post-Award Research Coordinator in the UCL Department of Political Science. She manages a diverse portfolio of research projects, ensuring compliance and coordinating key activities across delivery, staffing, and engagement. 

Niamh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Politics, and Law from Dublin City University. She began her career in Higher Education after relocating to the UK, joining the University of Birmingham as an International Projects Coordinator within the International Recruitment Team.

She later transitioned to the university’s Healthcare Technologies Institute, where she held two Project Officer positions. In these roles, she contributed to the delivery of major initiatives, including the ERDF funded DEMAND Hub and the Innovate UK funded West Midlands Health Tech Innovation Accelerator.

In June 2024, Niamh joined UCL as a Research Programme Support Officer for the NIHR funded ARC North Thames, where she was involved in programme coordination and research administration.
