Asgar Imanverdiyev - Researcher
Asgar Imanverdiyev is a second-year Philosophy, Politics and Economics student at UCL. His academic interests lie at the intersection of constitutional law, technology, and public policy, with a particular focus on how governments regulate digital platforms while balancing freedom of expression and online safety. He has recently explored these questions through his writing on the constitutional implications of social media restrictions in the United States, examining the relationship between First Amendment protections and government regulation.
At the Digital Speech Lab, his work focuses on public engagement. Asgar has contributed to educational workshops and discussions with members of the public on digital literacy, social media, and artificial intelligence. Through these activities, he aims to foster greater awareness and critical understanding of the digital world.
